WHAT IS PLATONIC SOLIDS
​
TRIDO is a magnetic construction block based on the geometry of Platonic solids. Platonic solids are constructed by regular polygonal faces which have the same number of faces meeting at each vertex.
Two of the five Platonic solids are used in TRIDO: the tetrahedron, which has four sides, and the octahedron, which has eight sides.

Together Tetrahedrons and Octahedrons can be stacked without gaps forming a tetrahedral-octahedral geometric honeycomb.
